Tips on opening PDF files correctly with Adobe acrobat

Very often, the Adobe Acrobat software is not set up properly and downloading PDF files gives rise to errors preventing the file from being opened. You are advised to follow the procedure below for best results.
  1. With the right mouse button click on the link of the PDF file to be downloaded to open up the dialog box.
  2. Select "Save target as..."
  3. Select the directory where the document is to be saved RENAMING the file (eg: add an "a" in front of the file name)
  4. When the download is over, DO NOT open the file, close the dialog box
  5. Close Internet
  6. Launch Adobe Acrobat
  7. From the Adobe Acrobat software, find and open the PDF file saved in your computer.
