Santos, a French company, was created in 1954 by André Fouquet to provide professional coffee grinders and cheese graters to small retailers.
The company’s development since then has been based on our savoir-faire with respect to production of motors, and this is undoubtedly one of the reasons why Santos’ products are reputed for their robustness and reliability.
50 years after the launch of its first product, the company continues to grow via innovation and development of new products at its headquarters in Lyons (two hours by train from Paris and Geneva).

We have three different product lines: coffee, fresh drinks, and food preparation.

The thousands of high quality appliances that are produced in our factory are in accordance with the most stringent international regulations (UL, GS, CE, NSF, KETI, GOST, etc…) and can be adapted to all relevant voltages.
 

   

The brand name Santos is now represented in more than a hundred countries by our partners, and customer satisfaction will always be our priority.

We are proud to see that our network of resellers and importers is representing our brand and our products with success in more than a hundred countries.

These equipment suppliers are dealing with all kinds of end users such as cafes, hotels, restaurants, catering, fast food outlets, pizzerias, sandwich bars, juice bars, coffee bars…
For this reason, Santos participates in the most important trade shows in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, USA…

Our goal is to provide the best possible service in combination with the Santos range of products. For this reason, both after-sales and the commercial call centre will always be here to help and find solutions for our customers.

We keep spare parts for all appliances that have been sold over the last 50 years and we are able to ship spare parts to anywhere in the world in less than 48 hours.

Production in France and Supply Chain management

With our new factory and storage facilities, we are able to meet tight deadlines and always keep a maximum of items in stock.
Our solid international experience allows us to be very flexible and reactive in order to guarantee swift delivery, even for large quantities.

In cooperation with our local partners and suppliers, we are able to optimize our supply chain management in a local environment (all the products are made in France near Lyon).
 

Research, Innovation, Design and green technologies

Year after year we develop a full range of innovative, quality appliances designed to meet the needs of our customers.
All our new products are the result of our engineering team’s experience of the market. They use the best computer assisted design 3D (CAD) packages to optimise the research and development process.

However, this fundamental research is always done in collaboration with our designers. In fact, design has always been an important part of the history of Santos; we believe that professionals should be proud of the tools of their trade – a combination of professionalism, ergonomics and design.

Santos focuses more and more on developing eco-friendly products, integrating green technologies.
